Philip Sizwe Blose born 1985 January 28.A son of Phindile Estha Mthethwa and Simon
Velaphi Blose.
Sizwe,Famously Known as Pyramid,Born In KwaMashu and raised in Mayville. His name is
taken from ancient mysterious structures. So just like true pyramids which have been there for
thousands of years, known for extending life through energy and frequencies kept on it, then
Sizwe is keen to ensure that all his art forms mostly his music stays forever, heals and soothes
life through his sorrowful and energetic lovely melodies.
With part of his childhood spent during apartheid, Sizwe watched his mother struggle to raise
them and make them better people for the world, which he is today. His father passed on when
he was very young. That gave him strength to do and go for what has his name on it.
Sizwe is a brother to 1 brother and 3 sisters, of which one is late.

a record label to take his music further.He futher worked with Peter Ngobese which made him
release his album named Ndikhusele under a record label called Ghetto Masters who was ran
by Mandla Khwela and got signed by a record label called Sonke Records by Themba Ngcamu.

He carried on working with Mbongeni Ngema doing shows like Sarafin (which
unfortunately he could not get a role) but he ended up getting a role as a slave master in
Ikhwezi LeAfrica and played a role of Bambatha Mancinza.
He was then involved in things that were done by Committed Artists. That’s when he met
Shaluza Max and Peter Ngobese, he worked with them where he did most of the vocals for
Takalani Sesame and recorded his third album where he worked with Shaluza Max and Jaziel
Brothers
